Remanufacturing conserves energy and natural resources versus new product manufacturing, avoiding solid waste stream and air pollution. ABF is committed to environmentally friendly water based paints and glues rather than harmful solvent based products.  ABF minimizes its impact on the environment in packing product through the re-use of fabric rather than using Styrofoam and other packaging products. 

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that businesses discard over 3 million tons of furniture and furnishings per year into landfills.  The remanufacturing of one workstation can divert as much as 800-1,000 pounds of waste from landfills.
